My Background and Approach
With a multidisciplinary background, I earned a Bachelor's in Political Science and Master's in U.S. & Latin American History from The University of Iowa; a Master's in Counselor Education from Northern Illinois University; and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. A former Tenured Professor at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, I have experience in mental health, social services, criminal justice, food & beverage, and transportation. Other positions include the State University of New York, Educational Testing Service, the City of Las Vegas Municipal Court, and American Airlines. I work with clients to facilitate their development of Self-Concept and Self-Esteem, as these are foundational and critical to the psychological, emotional, social, spiritual, and financial well being. Possessing 6 Full Clinical Licenses in 5 States, and myriad certifications, I provide services to clients in several jurisdictions, and globally.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal beliefs relate to self-discovery, education, and conflict resolution, among others. I am involved in my community, promoting self-awareness and the importance of behavioral health access for all populations.
