About My Clients

My prior experience working in both the U.S. and China has provided her with a wealth of multicultural clinical expertise. I have assisted adults and older individuals in addressing a wide range of issues, including sexuality, anxiety, depression, disabilities, chronic illness/pain, trauma, grief, family conflicts, domestic violence, and relational issues. I am particularly passionate about working on issues related to sex, sexuality, queer identities, open/poly relationships, and kink/BDSM.

My Background and Approach

Charlette practices from a multicultural, feminist, anti-oppressive, systems-focused perspective that is BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ affirming. She utilizes an eclectic approach combining psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and relational approaches to meet clients' various needs. She also incorporates techniques from DBT, and mindfulness to support her clients’ progress. She creates a safe space for her clients to talk about their beliefs, desires, and fears.
