About My Clients
Do you get overwhelmed by your emotions or feel numb? Do you get caught in a negative spiral of shame and worthlessness? Maybe you find that you feel irritable much of the time or have trouble concentrating. I know that these challenges and others are painful and get in the way of leading a fulfilling life. I don’t want you to suffer from them anymore. The skills I have learned and the understanding I bring to my work will help you be self-compassionate and enjoy your life.
My Background and Approach
I am committed to learning and growing as a professional to help my clients learn and grow in their lives and relationships. I bring in a variety of techniques including IFS, mindfulness, somatic work, and self-compassion because I don't believe one approach has all the answers. Through a collaborative process, I help people work new "muscles" to respond to thoughts, feeling, and sensations in a different way. It's like learning to drive a brand new model car when you've been used to driving a car built in 1958.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am motivated to make the world a better place. As an introvert, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, writing, doing artwork, and spending time in nature. I am curious and creative. My compassion and sense of justice extends to all living beings.
