Amanda Patrick

My therapy style is solution-focused & begins with meeting you where you are. After all, you’re the expert in your journey. No one will ever know your life as you do. My goal is to honor that in working with you to create a new narrative that is full of joy, hope, & possibilities. I also value learning from knowledge built on your life's journey, bringing humor, authenticity, empathy, & warmth to each session. We'll work together as a team, mixing in homework activities & dialogue to harness your expertise & empower you to find a healthier path toward your goals. Additionally, with an undergraduate degree in recreation & park administration (former park tanger here), a wealth of experience in the health benefits of nature, & a passion for complementary tools (such as mindfulness and the Enneagram), I enjoy weaving in engaging, hands on activities that give you space to test out resources in your daily life. Ultimately, my goal is to work myself out of of a job.

People are my jam, & I honor the opportunity to meet & support each of my clients. In fact, building a sense of connection where curisority, compassion, & inclusiveness are central is sacred. I also work with a variety of topics being rural based with connections across KY thru telehealth. So epic curiosity fuels my journey. In fact, it does not matter how often I have worked with any one topic. I always approach with fresh energy & perspective as each person I meet is unique in his/her/their story. Lastly, authenticity drives my work. Showing up, feeling seen & heard, for exactly who we are is fundamental to who I am & the space I hold for each person.
