My Values as a Therapist
With over a decade of experience working with individuals and couples that are dealing with the many stressors that life brings about, I believe therapy should be a safe, non-judgmental space for all and I strive to make that a priority in our therapeutic relationship. I am SOGI (Sexual Orientation Gender Identity) competent and believe that all abilities, religions, sexual orientations, races, and genders should feel comfortable in the therapeutic relationship. I am a sex-positive and kink allied professional. I am a strong supporter of human rights, civil rights, equity, and inclusion. And it's not just the humans I care about - I have two rescue pups and I am dedicated to animal welfare as well :) I'm also personally and professionally excited about the prospects that psychedelic therapies will bring to the mental health field and have undergone additional training to incorporate these treatments into my practice.
