Feeling a certain level of anxiety over big stressors or certain life events is totally normal. However, if you find that your fear or worry does not go away and, in fact, gets worse over time, you may be suffering from an anxiety disorder. Mild anxiety is vague and unsettling and often passes quickly, while severe anxiety can seriously affect your day-to-day life. If you are finding your anxiety unmanageable, can’t identify the cause of your anxious feelings or if you are suffering from physical symptoms (such as heart palpations, fatigue, sweaty hands, upset stomach, or insomnia), it may be time to get help. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s anxiety specialists today.
Do you want help with regular, every-day life stuff like stress, anxiety, dating, and work? Counseling isn’t just for life’s most challenging situations, it can also help with every-day stressor too, including your relationships, your career, and figuring yourself out. We integrate somatic, body-based approaches with neuroscience, brain-based therapies, to holistically heal past traumas, and start creating a new future. We are big into giving you lots of TOOLS to use in your life!
Our pain and suffering show up in so many ways. Trauma can come through so many different experiences: adverse early childhood experiences, religion, grief and loss, systemic oppression, and acute traumas. Clients that come to me often experience depression, shame, grief and loss, fear of death/dying, and self-hatred. We work together to create a container to heal.
My hope is to build a compassionate and brave space with you, so that you can feel safe sharing and exploring your story. Our work together will not only uncover the barriers to the growth and fulfillment that you deserve, but moreso help you experience hope and healing through healthier relationships with self and others.
Grow in Connection, Trust & Sturdiness in Self: Our feelings are valuable guides which give us important information. The ways in which we ignore or deny parts of ourselves contribute to disconnection from self and others. My hope is to join you with compassion, curiosity, hope and humor in coming home to yourself and in creating space that empowers trust, healing and a meaningful path forward.

I work with clients who are motivated to make deep, lasting, transformational shifts in their lives. Therapy helps you to understand and heal old patterns so that you can move toward the life you really want.
