My strength and expertise lies in treating those who suffer with depression, anxiety, phase of life issues, and understanding personal identity. I identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ population, as well as Native American, I have extensive experience in working with teens and young adults.

Do you struggle with imposter syndrome? Do you often find yourself comparing yourself to others around you? Do you worry that your thoughts or experiences are "abnormal" or shameful? So many of my clients come to therapy with these same fears and insecurities. I am no stranger to these very emotions myself! While I know it may seem easier to bottle these feelings up, tuck them away, and pretend they're not there, I also know that you can learn to release them, and I am honored to help.
Do you want to live happily, courageously and wholeheartedly? My passion is helping people live braver lives by showing up, being present and leaning into their joy. The goal is to help you develop self-compassion and become more resilient so life's challenges (which are inevitable) become easier to navigate. I aim to take you from surviving to thriving.

You are not broken or damaged. You may, however, be acting based on events from your past that remain encoded in your nervous system. Let's work together to treat the source of your symptoms and achieve lasting change. It is a privilege to be part of someone's healing journey. I would be honored to be a part of yours. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions, or to discuss your therapy goals.
I see older kids, adolescents, adults in family, couples and individual therapy. I have a background in emergency medicine and am comfortable with high levels of crisis, and specialize in mood disorders, neurodiverse disorder, personality disorders and high conflict situations.
During our time together, you will learn effective strategies for self-regulation and nervous system soothing, how to re-establish a communicative relationship with your body and emotions, what boundaries you need in place to feel safe and secure, what needs of yours are not being met and how to meet them, which core wounds are playing themselves on repeat in your life and how to increase your ability to be with big energy and emotions without feeling overwhelmed.
Do you feel like your mind races so much that you bounce from one thing to another without finding relief or resolution? I help individuals and families with adolescents feel a lot less anxious so that they can live with an inner calm and confidence to meet challenges without lashing out or breaking down. Chronic anxiety can disconnect you from loved ones and interfere with work. I can help you recognize and diminish the self-defeating behaviors that create the snowball effect .
My clients are members of the LGBTQIA2S community (or their families or allies) recovering from religious trauma and/or other oppressive systems. I come alongside folx of all backgrounds, genders and worldviews and help them reconnect with their own strengths and values. My clients want to live authentically and in peace, congruent to their whole selves. My clients are ready to Get Real.
Painful experiences can cause us to feel disconnected, stuck, overwhelmed, or unfulfilled. The ways you have been coping with these experiences may no longer working and you may want help. I have a passion for working with people struggling with using substances, relationship issues, and trauma. My goal as a therapist is to assist you to learning how to be more secure in yourself and to live the life that you want, without judgments or expectations.
You’ve achieved a lot, and parts of life are awesome. Yet, with all you’re juggling, you often don’t take space for yourself or your most important relationships. With so many people depending on you, breaking down just doesn’t feel like an option. Other people have things a lot worse, and you sometimes even feel guilty for being stressed. You are used to being a high-achiever (even if you don't say that out loud). To be a rock for others, you need some support right now.
I offer NON religious therapy - what you believe is up to you. I have worked with a people going through life transitions, understanding trauma, and exploring what makes healthy and happy relationships. I believe that therapy is a tool to assist in times of need, and in therapy I want to support the individual to come to their own conclusions. My end goal is for my clients to feel that they have their own tools to solve their problems.
Are you feeling stuck in your life? Are you ready for a change for the better? Then let me help you. I work with people struggling with trauma, issues from childhood, gender issues, sexual issues, codependence, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and grief. As a physician, I understand the challenge of complex medical problems. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I work with those who feel alone, different, bullied, abandoned, and afraid. Let me help you heal.
Maybe coming to therapy is an intuitive, easy next step for you. You know and trust yourself and know what you need from therapy. Or maybe you’re more tentative about this whole “therapy” thing. Life has, perhaps, taught you that trust is precious – that relationships can burn and reaching out for support could be dangerous. You may have even gotten the message not to believe in yourself or that self-advocacy isn’t okay. Well, surprise, I trust you and your inner wisdom and self-knowledge.
Your mind races with constant thoughts, you don’t feel present, you don’t feel authentic. Instead you feel spacey, you people-please, and struggle to feel understood. You struggle to keep it together and feel like the black sheep of your family and friend group. You find yourself fighting with your partner & you need this cycle to stop. You just never feel good enough. All this is getting in the way of the life you want. All you want is for life to be easier, to feel confident, and and at peace.
