About My Clients

I work well with adults who are highly responsible, high-achieving, perfectionistic, or chronically overwhelmed. Many of my clients struggle quietly—appearing capable externally while internally dealing with anxiety, intrusive thoughts, burnout, sleep difficulties, body image concerns, or constant mental overanalysis. My clients are often insightful and self-aware, but still find themselves stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-pressure, emotional exhaustion, or compulsive patterns.

My Background and Approach

I specialize in working with adults experiencing high-functioning anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, burnout, insomnia, disordered eating, chronic stress, chronic pain, and work/life balance concerns. Many of my clients appear highly capable externally while internally struggling with overthinking, emotional exhaustion, intrusive thoughts, or difficulty slowing down. I also work with individuals and partners in ethically non-monogamous (ENM), polyamorous, and nontraditional relationships, providing affirming, nonjudgmental support around communication, attachment, boundaries, and relationship complexity. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and evidence-based. I use CBT, CBT-I, I-CBT, ERP, ACT, mindfulness, and other strategies to help clients better understand the patterns keeping them stuck while building a more sustainable relationship with themselves, their emotions, their bodies, and their lives. As a PSYPACT psychologist, I provide telehealth therapy across participating states.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely understood rather than judged, pathologized, or pressured to “perform” wellness. Many people spend years appearing high-functioning externally while privately struggling with anxiety, overthinking, burnout, intrusive thoughts, perfectionism, sleep difficulties, relationship stress, or emotional exhaustion. I view these struggles with compassion, curiosity, and respect for the complexity of each person’s experiences. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and grounded in helping clients better understand the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I value authenticity, emotional insight, balance, and creating a space where clients can explore challenges honestly without shame. I believe meaningful change often comes not from becoming perfect, but from building a more sustainable and compassionate relationship with yourself.
