Depression is a mental health disorder that affects mood, including how you feel, think, and behave. The symptoms of depression vary from person to person, but often include feeling miserable without a clear reason why, anxiety, agitation, insomnia or sleeping too much, hopelessness, changes in eating, and/or foggy thinking. I provide trauma-focused individual, family, and group therapy for adults. Typical concerns of the people I work with include managing the effects of traumatic experiences, relationship issues, intense emotions, and grief. Areas of special focus include supporting survivors of sexual violence and adults healing from the effects of child abuse and relational trauma in their families of origin including sexual abuse, incest, neglect, and intimate partner violence.
