I tend to work with folks who are curious about themselves, others, and the human condition in general. My clients often come to therapy recognizing that they have endured relational and/or societal trauma and knowing how it impacts them. However, they feel unsure of how to reckon with, heal, and integrate their traumatic experiences. My clients are ready to live more expansively, have more balanced relationships, and feel more grounded in their daily life but need support to get there.

I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults facing issues in the areas of depression, anxiety, life transitions, family dynamics, and racial/cultural identity. As an immigrant myself, I particularly enjoy working with South Asian, BIPOC, and first-generation individuals and couples. I work well with clients who are committed to making meaningful change in their lives and strive to break the dysfunctional cycles keeping them stagnant.
Are you someone who keeps it all together but finds yourself feeling panicked, dissatisfied, or disconnected from others? Maybe you're processing a devastating recent or long-standing loss. I work with people who want to improve their relationships, find fulfillment in life, and do the deep self-exploratory work that leads to feeling more at ease with yourself despite the unpredictability of life.
I specialize in working with young adults and adults who are experiencing stress and struggling due to life transitions such as a change in career, starting a new relationship, and moving and due to relational difficulties with their partners, families, and friends. My clients appreciate the relaxed and comfortable setting that allows them to be open and honest. Together, we will figure out goals and tangible solutions to achieve them and ways to reduce anxiety and decrease depressive symptoms.
I work with clients who exhibit a range of needs. Whether you are struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief and loss, ADHD, OCD, substance use or another "disorder" that is causing you distress, we can work together to help ease your symptoms. I have worked closely with the perinatal community and have extensive knowledge of the postpartum experience.
I believe that living a life where you can be your authentic self is possible. Whether this is together as a family seeking deeper and more meaningful ways to connect with one another, or as an individual on a healing journey, it is truly an honor to help facilitate and witness the profound ability we have as humans to shift from surviving life to thriving in it.

Has your child been acting differently than usual? Maybe they seem secretive, quiet, emotional or withdrawn. They might not want to do the activities they used to enjoy or be scared of things that didn’t scare them in the past. I am here to help your child in dealing with and understanding what they have been through in a age appropriate and empathetic manner. In therapy, your child can understand their problems and learn positive ways to cope with what has been bothering them.
So many of us are searching for who we truly are. We’re so encapsulated in who we should be being for others, that we end up losing ourselves. This shows up most frequently in intimate relationships. Our desire for unconditional love from another supersedes our need for physical connection. Emotion trumps sexuality. And what goes on within our mind shuts down the abilities of our body. Are you feeling lost in your relationship? Are you craving more intimacy?
You’ve been getting through life, maybe you’ve always just been “getting through” maybe you once felt you were living life then lost this. But you’ve been carrying a heavy burden of what’s happened to you and still trying to make life work. It’s so exhausting, you wonder and wish for something more than this from life. With trauma therapy, I’ll help you process and heal from the pain of the past and connect to yourself to feel more peace and create the life you’re wanting to live.

Have you noticed that it's in the places you are supposed to be most relaxed (meditation, vacation, weekends, sleep) that your mind feels louder than ever? It might feel like the idea of letting your thoughts go is meant for “normal” people and that does not include you. Maybe you stand guard to keep yourself from your worst case, as if your attention to your thoughts keeps you from descending into unimaginable fear. I can help you sift through the noise and regain your confidence in yourself.
People seek therapy for so many reasons, but mostly we all want to feel loved, safe & understood. We want to feel a sense purpose & feel good enough as we are & yet so many of us struggle to feel these ways. Sometimes our lives look very different than we imagined & we need help making sense out of things. We might be feeling disconnected or numb, uncertain or alone. We might be questioning who we are or the direction we are heading & need to find some clarity, perspective or hope.

Being human is hard. When two different people, flaws and all, form a relationship, it’s harder. When those two decide that they want to swing with other couples, that can be even more complicated. Or perhaps they decide to open up their relationship on occasion. What are the boundaries? How about when those two humans become part of a triad, or quad? There might be some unique challenges with that choice as well. And jealousy! Navigating yours, and theirs, is not for the faint of heart.
