At Kinnection, we provide affirming, trauma-informed therapy for adults, children/teens, and families across all walks of life. We are deeply committed to serving LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities, offering a space that is culturally responsive, where your full identity is welcomed and honored. Our holistic approach means we treat the whole person, not just the presenting symptoms, drawing from evidence-based modalities including EMDR, DBT, CBT, and attachment-based therapy.
My Background and Approach
We believe that who we are is deeply shaped by our relationships, and that healing often happens within them. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, holistic lens in helping individuals find care that truly reflects their lived experience. I bring formal training in EMDR, mindfulness, attachment, relational, and psychodynamic therapies, integrating these approaches to meet each client where they are. My background spans schools, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, DCFS, and residential programs for teens, giving me a deep understanding of how systems, culture, and family dynamics shape our mental health.
