About My Clients
I love to work with strongly motivated, courageous clients willing to clear away obstacles, inquire deeply, and fully open their hearts. Clients willing to let go of narrow concepts that keep them contracted and to explore with curious, open minds. Clients who seek full-fledged self-acceptance and self-respect.
My Background and Approach
I have practiced Zen Buddhist and Advaita Vedanta meditation for fifty years, having trained with masters in several spiritual traditions as well as great psycho-spiritual and psychotherapy masters. These include Roshi Philip Kapleau, H.W.L. Poonja, Anam Thubten, Hal & Sidra Stone PhD's, the Ackerman Family Institute, The Washington Family Institute. I've taught non-duality at Stillpoint on Martha's Vineyard, taught Voice Dialogue in Washington D.C, and assisted the Stones at Omega Institute and Delos. I have also trained with shamans in plant medicine and shamanic journeys.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone's fundamental essence is perfect, and that no matter how troubled or "stuck" someone is, change and improvement are always possible. That together we can access self-respect, self-acceptance, and joy. And that each person moves at their own pace and responds to modalities in their own way. While my task is to support and encourage it is never to push or insist. (Unless the client specifically asks for that.)
