Taking cues from Jung and various minds that followed, I utilize depth psychology to explore the psyche to discover underlying motives behind our various behaviors and symptoms that we perceive to be obstacles from our goals.

I utilize various elements of Motivational Interviewing to help explore the latent ambiguity most of us hold about most topics, and to identify what we refer to as "change talk," highlighting those points for both therapist and client to hold and consider.

I believe that a critical place to begin therapy is within the therapeutic relationship. Without establishing a space wherein the client feels safe, seen, and heard, how can any meaningful progress be made in exploring those aspects within us that up until now have been neglected?

I began my career working in as a high school teacher and administrator, and have since moved on to providing therapy for the same population. I find working with adolescents to be the most inspiring population, for this age range finds themselves at an enormous proverbial fork in the road, wherein the right intervention can lead to massive adjustments to the overall trajectory of a life.

Some of us were born with an antenna more finely tuned to pick up the emotional winds that blow from person to person, animal to animal, and plant to plant. I am a therapist cognizant of this experience and as such am ably suited to providing therapeutic support.

Relationships are the source of some of humanities greatest joys, and with that, its greatest hurts. Relationships can be all encompassing; they can swallow us; hold us; cradle us; smother us; break us. I use my extensive experience in this realm to help clients navigate the murky waters of interpersonal exchange.
