As someone with who has personally struggled with chronic pain and who has a background in trauma counseling I understand that life can become overwhelming and reaching out for support can be frightening. As such making you feel truly safe, comfortable, and respected is my top priority. My therapy space is a place where people can feel safe having moments of vulnerability and struggle as well as moments filled with joy and laughter. As a client centered psychodynamic therapist I value all of your unique life experiences that have led you to my office in an effort to find healing and growth at a pace and style that works best for you.

Your story is important and deserves to be told. You deserve to be able to find peace and healing. Being what others may consider odd or different is beautiful thing. While therapy can bring up hard feelings, it is a sacred space where you should always feel safe, heard, and seen. At Sanctuary Counseling, everyone is worthy of love, support, and acceptance. We are committed to the support of the LGBTQIA+ community in our area, and provide a safe space for our clients to explore and grow in their identity. We believe that Black Lives Matter, and continually endeavor to ensure not only a justice-informed community of healing, but also to dedicate ourselves to proactively anti-racist education and counseling interventions. We also are committed to our Manna Basket Financial Program, which takes 10% of our receipts before taxes and is used to provide assistance to those clients who may need financial support. This is our biggest effort to combat financial holdbacks for those seeking help
