About My Clients

This search for the best therapist for LGBT relationships can be even more complicated when you and your partner aren’t out to everyone in your lives, when you are in transition with your identity or gender expression, or when you have some history of fights getting physical between you. Even with these "challenges” you are still a person in a relationship and you want a qualified couples therapist to help you and your love communicate better, have more satisfying sex, be great parents, etc.

My Background and Approach

I have a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California (Reg. No 122070) and a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (Reg. No 8564). I am working under the supervision of Rebecca Williams, LMFT (Ca Lic. No 81817). I also have a Masters degree in Sociology and have worked multiple fields and worn many hats before settling down as a therapist. I believe my multiple lived experiences and knowledge help me to be a better therapist who can have empathy and compassion for my clients. One of my biggest strengths as a therapist is my ability to connect with clients and meet them where they are in their journey. You can always expect honesty, compassion, and empathy from me. I will be right there with you while you sort through the challenges in your life but I will also help you face them head on so you can have the happy and healthy relationship that you deserve.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I provide LGBTQIA+ couples with honesty, trust, and compassion. Even if you’ve been hesitant to seek help or had a bad experience with a couples therapist who turned out to be homophobic, it’s never too late to seek marriage counseling! I am glad you are here and doing your research to find an affirming couples therapist. I hope I can be that person to help your relationship. I’m very passionate about human rights and helping those who need it. We all deserve to be happy and have a support system that inspires us to be better people! I’d like to be part of your support system and help you and your partner find love in one another again.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
