Trauma creates deep wounds within ourselves. Sometimes we don’t even know they are there until we are triggered which may confuse us even more. During our session we will discover those wounds with compassion and kindness letting them be understood on a deep level so we can relieve the ache and embrace the joy.
Anxiety is like an alarm bell which goes off internally telling us something is wrong. During our session we will explore the anxiety and allow it to help us understand how we can help it so we can feel the calm and peace we crave.
IFS utilizes the approach to discover the inner Self along with various different parts of us. Discovering our inner Self helps us find our inner strength and builds a sense of empowerment and confidence. Respecting our parts gives us the ability to make a choice that is best for our whole self as an inclusive unit which helps eliminate self doubt and confusion.
DBT promotes mindfulness and brings us to be in the present moment. Practicing this sense of “now” brings joy and peace to our daily lives and helps reduce anxiety and panic.
CBT helps us recognize negative thinking patterns and schemas which can affect our daily function. Changing our thoughts to positive helps change our behavior to positive which further increases our overall sense of inner peace and control over our actions.
