About My Clients

Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, or feeling overwhelmed? Are there parts of yourself that you wish would just go away? Using Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, I can provide you with the tools you need to find relief, truly take care of yourself, have greater choice and gain peace of mind. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, stress, sexual identity, and life transitions.

My Background and Approach

Counseling is a collaborative process where I provide a supportive space for you to build awareness and explore your experience, relationships, emotions, how you got to be where you are now, and experiment with new ways of being. I will meet you where are at and we will work with whatever is present with you. In addition to being a graduate of the University of New Mexico Counseling Program, I am fully trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I completed the IFS Level One training in 2022 and the IFS Online Circle and an IFS workshop with IFS founder Richard Schwartz in 2021. IFS therapy is a somatic, holistic modality that helps you to truly get in touch with yourself. I help you get to know the parts of yourself and access the inner calm, confidence, compassion and connectedness that can heal the whole. My mission is to help you to live a more peaceful, vibrant, connected, pleasure-full, and engaged life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that every person has calm, goodness, compassion and creativity at their core, even if this part of themselves is inaccessible or obscured. Being emotionally wounded in life leads to our parts getting stuck in extreme roles that lead to more pain and suffering. Our wounds may be caused by and amplified by the layers of systemic, institutional and individual oppression that are a reality of the world we live in. The good news is that these wounds can be healed, leading to increased internal peace and freedom. I believe in striving to create a world that is more equitable and just, where all people have access to basic human rights, including quality healthcare, food and shelter, and collaboration and mutual aid are paramount. I am passionate about the cooperative model, which empowers the worker to have sovereignty over their livelihood. I am excited to be a part of a cooperative counseling practice and working towards the creation of a cooperative co-housing project.
