About My Clients
As women, we often have more on our plate that others and so we sometimes need extra support. I can provide you with that support. I am a doctoral level psychologist & trained in programs accredited by the American Psychological Association. I work with women who are struggling with feelings of stress, anxiety, grief, & frustration. I specialize in grief, parenting stress, marital stress, supportive parenting for queer youth, & perinatal support. As well as managing ADHD in women.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, I tend to be collaborative, supportive, & transparent. Our sessions are a time & space where you get to talk about what is concerning you & I help you gain insight into these concerns & use my expertise to help you manage or resolve them, without judgment. We will work together as a team to create change and help you manage life's demands.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My own experiences as a woman, a lesbian, and someone who has experienced loss has led me to be passionate about helping other women find who they are and heal through life's challenges. I am a social justice oriented professional and believe in empowering my clients as much as possible.
