Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.
Have you been dealing with anxiety lately? Or perhaps you've noticed you haven't felt like yourself and you're not sure how that feeling occurred in the first place? I've been there, dealing with anxiety or other unpleasant feelings is never a fun thing, and although some of these feelings are things we have to deal with throughout life, that doesn't mean these feelings should control us. Together, we can set goals to overcome/manage the obstacles that these issues bring.
I help adults heal their relationship with food and body, gain new perspective, and build self-compassion. Looking to up your confidence, work through some hurts, improve your relationships, and claim your inner badass? Give me a shout. Please feel free to reach out via email.

Are you struggling to see the forest for the trees? Are you stuck in cycles that are keeping you on the hamster wheel? Together, we can create a plan to zoom out and help rewrite the cycles. "An object at rest remains at rest, or if in motion, remains in motion at a constant velocity unless acted on by a net external force." I love getting to know my clients and their preferences so we can use what you prefer and makes sense to you during the course of our work together.
ARE YOU DESPERATE TO CHANGE HOW YOU ARE FEELING? IS THE ANXIETY OVERWHELMING AND YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT BETTER? ARE YOU FACING ONE OF THE MOST PAINFUL EXPERIENCES IN YOUR LIFE? DO YOU FEEL STUCK AND YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT? I WILL WORK WITH YOU WITH AN OPEN HEART AND MIND TO PROVIDE SUPPORT, ENCOURAGEMENT, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, TEACH YOU SKILLS TO MAKE PROFOUND CHANGES TO RESTORE BALANCE AND PEACE IN YOUR LIFE. LET'S WORK TOGETHER TO BRING LASTING CHANGE.
I do my best work with people 18 and older trying to improve the most important relationships there are--the ones with themselves and their romantic partners. This often looks like anxiety and depression individually, and feeling unable to communicate effectively in intimate relationships. I love using a mind/body/spirit approach to those open to it, always with the goal of helping people feel more confident, better able to set boundaries, and be more at peace in their own skin and homes.
I enjoy working with clients of all ages who hold multiple minority identities and are seeking identity development, trauma therapy, or parent training. Many of my clients have jokingly described me as a "process consultant" and "professional poker". I can treat a range of mental health concerns but highly enjoy serving the local LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent community. I have experience writing letters in support of gender-affirming medical interventions (e.g., hormone treatment and surgery).
