They have a desire to better understand themselves, to develop greater self-awareness, and to create lasting change in their lives. They are motivated to work collaboratively.

Currently offering in-person appointments on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and teletherapy appointments on Thursdays. If you feel out of touch with your own life, if people say that you worry “too much,” if a particular event has taken away your sense of well-being, psychotherapy can be an excellent resource and activator for change. But it takes courage to recognize when your coping strategies are no longer working and to reach out for support.
At times, emotions can feel all-consuming and get in the way of what we want or care about most in our lives. I use evidence-based practices to support children, teens, and young adults in coping with difficult experiences—such as anxiety, OCD, depression and behavioral challenges. I also provide parents with strategies to help their children experiencing challenges. My goal is to work with clients on building their strengths in facing difficult emotions and living a rich and meaningful life.

You need therapy that will teach you concrete skills to help improve your life right now, not aimless therapy that only makes you feel better for the day. My typical clients are professionals who have come to realize that negative thoughts are keeping them from achieving their full potential at work and/or in their personal lives. Many of my current clients had tried therapy prior to seeing me and did not find it helpful as they did not get concrete skills to deal with distress.
I help anxious and overwhelmed individuals navigate life stress, flourish in life transitions, and heal from painful experiences. You may be a young adult navigating a new life phase, you may be experiencing grief and loss, or you may be working through trauma. You may simply be looking to shift habits that are negatively affecting your life. All of these needs can be challenging to face alone, which is why working together in the context of a therapeutic alliance can be so helpful.
Some of my clients are working toward feeling more connected in their relationships. Some are working to heal from traumas of the past. Most are looking for an expert therapist, who having tried multiple therapists, need a more comprehensive, philosophically grounded, deeper, and richer experience of self-exploration and healing. My goal is for my clients to experience a connection they may have never felt that helps them build insight, understanding, and the courage and power to heal and grow.
Are you feeling stuck in patterns that leave you unfulfilled? Perhaps you are struggling to understand or embrace your full identity. Or maybe you just feel “off” and don’t know what to do about it. I work with teens and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, sexuality questions, relationship issues, gender exploration, body image, athlete specific issues, life transitions, and more. I can help you slow down and gain insight into the factors impacting your feelings and behaviors.
Each relationship shared with a client brings a sense of investment and an opportunity of reward for diligence. We will aspire to goal achievement, conflict resolution and development of crucial life skills from a place of effective self-assessment, critical thinking and incorporation of tools that work for you.

I provide psychotherapy to adults with anxiety, interpersonal issues, and stress related to work, academics, and life transitions. I am also a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist and have 20 years of experience working with clients during pregnancy/postpartum and providing therapeutic support around managing parenting-related mental health concerns and stressors from infancy to empty nest.
My clients are Adolescents 13 and up and adults 18 and up, primarily with addictions including internet, substances, gambling. I also work with co-existing disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I do both in-person counseling at my office in Norwell, as well as Telehealth statewide.
I'm Meg Decker (she/her), a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who works with adults of all ages. Many of my clients come to therapy to address issues related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, prenatal and postpartum challenges, and issues related to relationships and self-worth. I am particularly passionate about serving young adults (18 -29) as they navigate the complex world of adulthood.
I work with young adults and adults who are experiencing stress and anxiety. My goal is to help you stop getting caught in a spiral of distracting negative thoughts so that you can start being present in the here and now. Then you can more easily make choices that are consistent with your personal values and goals.
I employ next layer healing with many of my clients, who have already had success utilizing therapeutic techniques to target specific symptoms. Despite this success and progress, they often still feel that something is out of alignment. Using an integrative and holistic approach, I help clients work towards a deeper layer of healing that gets to the root of judgments and negative messages they have received through the human experience.

The women that come see are those who are all "talked out", are experiencing ongoing physical symptoms such as gut health issues, chronic migraines, TMJ, muscle tension, burning sensations, heart conditions, shooting pains, etc.; experience anxiety, hypervigilance, dissociation, and/or feel "stuck" in their healing journey. I work well with women who have experienced sexual trauma, relational trauma, childhood trauma as well isolated traumatic events (i.e., car accident or injury).
My clients span the spectrum of gender and sexual orientation, and often come into therapy with specific concerns or goals related to anxiety, depression, trauma, gender, sexual problems, ADHD, attachment, and/or relationships. I've found that so many people are funny, smart, resourceful, and capable beyond their current beliefs about themselves. If you read this and think, "well, not me," then I accept your challenge! ;)
My clients are the coolest. Not that I'm biased. They're often kinky, within the LGBTQIA+ umbrella, in non-monogamous relationships, with some neurodivergence, and often are pretty sarcastic. Sometimes, they need support when it comes to their executive function and their relationships. Sometimes, they need help with anxiety and depression. As a team, we can navigate the challenges and complexities of life.
