About My Clients

I work with clients across marginalized identities and experiences, including LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, immigrants and children of immigrants, sex workers, polyamorous and kink communities, and neurodivergent and disabled folks. Clients often seek support for anxiety, depression, trauma, life or gender transitions, and relationship or partner violence.

My Background and Approach

I bring nearly a decade of experience supporting individuals who have experienced domestic or intimate partner violence. My work has primarily been community-based, serving a diverse range of clients, including those from marginalized and underserved communities. My approach is relational, person-centered, anti-oppressive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, with room for humor when it feels right. I aim to create a space that feels safe enough for you to begin your healing process, while supporting you in discovering the tools and techniques that work best for you. I offer telehealth and in-person sessions in Cambridge. In our work together, I may incorporate assessment tools, mindfulness and meditation, reflective practices, intentional journaling, and grounding skills. I also use imagery and visual supports to help explore the roots of your experiences and symptoms. Creativity in all forms is welcome in this space!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I approach this work through the belief that oppression is deeply connected to many forms of suffering, including mental health. Together, we may explore how power, identity, and larger systems shape your experiences. I also recognize the inherent power dynamics within therapy and aim to practice in ways that feel more collaborative and grounded. I hold an awareness that many therapeutic models are rooted in systems of white supremacy and capitalism. Part of my work is to stay in relationship with this reality—keeping what is useful and letting go of what is not. Outside of therapy, I find joy and grounding in nature, sustainability, food justice, time with my spouse and dog, and activities like gardening, hiking, and watching women’s sports. I also value community care and collective action.
