About My Clients
I love working with people who are seeking psychotherapy to help heal their relationships, including and especially with themselves. I have a particular interest in working with self-consciousness, including helping people with shame, inappropriate guilt, and moral injury relate to themselves and their experiences with greater ease and self-compassion.
My Background and Approach
I completed my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Minnesota in 2011 and have worked in a variety of clinical settings including partial hospitalization, outpatient DBT, and specialty behavioral health clinics, prior to founding my own practice. I have over a decade of training and practice providing psychotherapy to military veterans, servicemembers, and their loved ones. I am a Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher-in-Training and have a passion for integrating mindfulness-based practices into psychotherapy.
