Art is what always brought my life a purpose, but in entering the "real world", I compromised and majored in Psychology & minored in Studio Arts. I knew that I could never "make it" as an artist, and found the field of Art Therapy- which truly did best suit my authentic needs- to find my true Self, to learn the fascinations of the mind, & to deeply connect with other people and offer them support, understanding, & unconditional positive regard. I graduated with a Master's in Creative Arts Therapies in Rochester, NY in 2018 and moved back down south to be near my family and begin working. I truly have not found a client that I did not enjoy yet - I believe we all carry our authentic Selves with us, but they can get covered up by different "parts"- our anxious part, the angry part, the hurt part. My work now is focused on deeply connecting with and validating clients and their parts, and begin to discover this inner Self, as all the answers that you seek are already inside of you.
