My Background and Approach
We weren't created to live this life alone. It's in relationships we experience connection. I believe people respond most to being known & accepted. Through connection there's renewal. Facilitating openness for learning & change through an evolving process to live authentically & resourcefully. Utilizing experience & relational formation to cultivate renewal & growth. I employee an eclectic & integrative approach in combining multiple therapy techniques to best fit your needs. Counseling is an opportunity to walk intimately with you through a season of life, to witness & experience transformation & refinement through relationship.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the decision to become a counselor is a commitment to my own growth and recovery process. In my own journey, I have experienced renewal & covering of wounds. As I worked to collect, connect, and correct the dots of my own traumatic experiences, I was able to rewrite my own narrative. With the heart position of self compassion, I was able to investigate and identify who Charlotte is. I believe I can only take my clients as far as I have gone- this is why as a counselor I am committed to ongoing personal work and exploration. There is strength in surrender. In the counseling container through the therapeutic relationship, we get to put a pause on generational patterns that are no longer serving us. We get to press in to the critical human need of being heard, seen, and known to rewrite our narrative.
