I specialize in queer issues, neurodivergence, trauma and building healthier relationships. As a gender queer therapist who has lived experience with PTSD, and ADHD, affirming care is foundational to my practice. I work with all relationship structures from couples, ethically non monogamous, polyamorous, and families.
I find I am most helpful working with individual transition age youth and adults seeking help with bipolar and mood disorders, identity exploration, setting boundaries and navigating relationships, learning coping skills, making sense of traumatic experiences, and unpacking privilege and learning to be a better ally. I am comfortable and knowledgeable about topics relating to sex and sexuality, gender affirmation, sex positivity, poly/non-monogamy, and intersections of identity.

My clients are often looking for a sense of direction and perspective as they go through significant life transitions. They may feel disillusioned with their work or relationships, or struggle to let go of habits that don't serve them anymore. They have a sense that a different way is possible, but are not sure how to get there. Some are just taking the first steps towards change, and others are already on their path and want support as they learn from and integrate their experiences.
Deciding to begin therapy can feel empowering and that you are starting the process of creating the difference you are seeking in your life. Some clients begin therapy with a clear idea of the changes they want to make while others know they want a difference in their life but are less clear on exactly what that needs to be. I work collaboratively with clients and prefer to take an active role in the therapy process engaging clients with a variety of modalities and tasks.
If you are seeking support for continuing your self-actualization journey, we may be a good match. My ideal client is motivated to work on their material outside of sessions and is open to understanding how cultural forces play into individual struggles. I have worked extensively with women who have experienced all kinds of trauma, and had success teaching strategies to mitigate anxiety. If you are sex positive, poly amorous, or spiritually oriented, I am fluent in those arenas as well.
