About My Clients
I specialize in working with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, challenging family dynamics, and social or school-related stress. I also work with individuals of all ages experiencing anxiety, grief, depression, and relationship challenges.
My Background and Approach
I'm here to offer support in a way that feels real, respectful, and grounded in who you are, along with the use of evidence based tools and strategies. I invite you to laugh, to cry, to eat, to joke, to fidget, to color, or do whatever you need during our time. I see you as a whole person- a human, just like myself. You are not a problem to be fixed. I'll meet you with empathy, honesty, and respect, creating a space where you can be yourself without judgement.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a firm believer that people are inherently good and that we all deserve a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling. My own experiences with ADHD and anxiety have given me a personal understanding of how challenging it can be to navigate the world when things feel overwhelming or when your brain doesn't seem to cooperate,. These experiences remind me how important it is to give ourselves the same patience and compassion we so often extend to others. I believe we are all doing the best we can, even when things feel messy or difficult, and that our struggles don't define our worth. I offer space where you will be accepted and supported as you figure things out in your own way and at your own pace. Outside of being a therapist, I am a mom, a dog lover, a partner, a friend, a gardener, a reader, and so much more. I am human, just like you. At the end of the day, we're all just doing our best to navigate this life, and I think there's something meaningful about doing that together.
