About My Clients

My clients are those who are in need of a safe, affirming, nonjudgmental space to cope, heal, explore, be curious, and connect to all the parts of themselves that have yet to experience caring, loving, and playful connections to themselves and others.

My Background and Approach

If you ever felt like the world has become more aggressive, unsafe, and judgmental, where you cannot be or exist as your whole, genuine self, you are not alone. Those who have been denied safety, gentleness, care, and love deserve a space and, ultimately, a world where we can freely, safely exist and live as our whole selves. My goal and approach as a therapist is rooted in establishing safety, and consent, where meeting you where you are is critical. If you don't know what makes a safe, gentle, loving, caring space, or you don't know what your goals are--that's okay! Therapy is a space to explore, be curious, playful, silly, and all the things you have been denied. Whether it's processing, venting, skills building, or something else, the therapeutic space is yours, and yours to determine.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am part of many communities that inform my experiences, values, and approach to my work with individuals, communities, and systems. As a working-class disabled, large-body Latina woman of color and trauma survivor, who is also part of the queer community, I spent many years trying to unpack and accept different identities and experiences I had no language or framework to name. I've been an education organizer and studied clinical social work, liberation, and social justice with an intersectional framework of systems, power, honoring labor and legacy of existing work, and community building. Having experienced both privilege and loss, I connect our experiences to systems of power, as we do not exist in a vacuum. We are part of a connected ecosystem, where connection to ourselves and each other is critical.
