About My Clients
Are you seeking a more fulfilling sex life? Perhaps you have lost or never experience a "sex drive" or not content or comfortable with the kind of sex you are having? Sexuality can be a core aspect of our sense of self and yet there are few places to explore this. I offer a therapeutic space where you do not have to hide parts of your life due to judgment, stigma or shame. I will help guide and support you to understand and learn about the kind of sex that YOU find fulfilling.
My Background and Approach
My formal training includes an M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I started my training as a therapist at a local LGBT Center and have over a decade of experience with LGBTQIA+ populations in the exploration of sexuality, gender identity and sexual orientation. I am a Sex Therapist with training from the Sexual Health Alliance and have experience with a range of sexual problems and challenges including desire discrepancies between partners, difficulties with arousal or orgasm, painful sex, exploration of kink or nonmonogamy. I am also trained in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and can incorporate this into our work if interested and assessed as beneficial.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My focus is to ensure my clients have a space that is free of judgment, and this means that I welcome clients of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and relationship styles. I utilize a sex-positive, body-positive, trauma-informed, and identity affirmative perspective in supporting the client’s self-discovery.
