About My Clients
Jeanne welcomes all clients, but specialize in work with folks processing trauma, engaging in patterns of behavior that developed to keep you safe though may no longer serve you, LGBTQIA+, estrangement or difficulties with family, divorce, grief and loss, anxiety, depression and anger. She creates a space for you find freedom from the weight and the pain that is holding you back so that you can more fully create the life that you want.
My Background and Approach
Jeanne graduated with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Master’s in Divinity (Religion) from Duke University with esteemed honors including the Robert E Bryan Public Service Award and Bosch Award from UNC at Chapel Hill and the McMurray Richey Outstanding Student Award, Marsha Sterns Award, and Addie Davis Leadership Nominee from Duke University.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We all have the desire to be 1) fully known and 2) fully loved though oftentimes fear we must choose between the two. That if our past, insecurities, or flaws were fully known, we would lose out on the belonging and connection we crave. In our work together, Jeanne creates a space for you to feel both fully seen and fully supported deep in your bones, no questions asked. She remains warm, open, and non-judgmental. She will create a space for you find freedom from the weight and the pain that is holding you back so that you can more fully create the life you want.
