Jeanne remains formally trained in the type of non-pharmacological therapy evidence currently finds as most effective in reducing PTSD symptoms for adults: Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She is also formally trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) which provides a helpful secondary therapeutic lens in reducing PTSD symptoms including poor sleep, sleeping too much, anger, depression, feeling on edge, unwanted thoughts of the traumatic event, etc.

Not feeling emotionally and/or physically safe to exist in the spaces you sometimes occupy due to who you love or how you identify. Growing up with the unspoken conditioning to conform to the straight, cisgendered (identifying with one’s assigned gender at birth) world around you. Jeanne has extensive experience working with those that identify as LGBTQIA+. She is queer and remains happily married to her wife, Gessica.
