I use a number of research-based tools to help you better manage stress in your life and to help you strengthen your relationships. Through our work together, we might spend time talking about what's going on in your brain and body when you feel anxious and stressed and work on skills for creating relief. Depending on your needs, we might explore the ways that beliefs and past experiences impact your current stress levels. When working with couples/relationships, we'll look at the patterns that leave you feeling disconnected and learn about the underlying needs that fuel those patterns. We'll work on approaches during session that help you to strengthen connection, approach conflict productively, and come to better understand the values that drive you and your partner. I approach our work through a relational lens, working to help you feel valued, heard, and safe to be yourself. I'll get your feedback throughout the process to make sure we are on the same page and meeting your needs.
