About My Clients
I serve the LGBTQIA+ and ENM communities in Gilbert, Arizona, working with individuals and relationships - romantic, friendly, and familial. I love working with people who want connection that goes beyond convention into something deep, intentional, and meaningful. I know how hard it can be to show up and interact authentically, so my clients and I work together to create a space where they can show up as their true selves. Together, we repair and renew the bonds that are meant to last.
My Background and Approach
I'm an associate marriage and family therapist under the supervision of Michaela Decker LMFT-15137. If you're coming to me as a family, romantic partnership, or friends, I draw on training in emotionally focused couples therapy (EFCT) to help you understand and reshape the patterns you're stuck in. If you're coming to me as an individual, my training in emotionally focused individual therapy (EFIT) helps you map and gain control over the cycle that keeps you from showing up as your best self - for yourself and for others. My goal is to help you create an authentic, intentional life with clear boundaries, improved perspective and understanding, and fulfilling connection. I pull on advanced training in working with the LGBTQIA+ community to serve you with compassion and understanding. My experience with non-monogamous individuals and relationships means I can meet you wherever you fall on the relationship spectrum, without judgment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer, cis, hetero-passing white woman, I think it's important that my beliefs are clear so that you can make safe, informed choices regarding your care. I believe that human rights include indigenous rights, black rights, women's rights, religious rights, disabled and neurodivergent rights, trans rights, queer rights, polyamorous rights, immigrant and refugee rights, and the rights of every human being on this earth. Bodies of any size, shape, color, and ability deserve respect and care. I do not have any religious beliefs, but strongly hold the belief that we should treat others the way they want to be treated. I have experience volunteering at the Crisis Text Line and value safety above all else in mental health care. I also believe you have a right to know the answers to the questions that you need to ask in order to feel safe walking into my office. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have.
