About Our Clients
We work with clients who are looking for help with a range of issues, including complex trauma, low self-esteem, depression, imposter syndrome, co-dependency, anxiety, co-occurring disorders, and body image. We are intentional about centering a multicultural and social justice orientation, with the commitment to make space for client’s cultural identities and social locations, providing inclusive, culturally-responsive, and trauma-informed care.
Our Background and Approach
Our therapists work from a variety of clinical approaches. All of our therapists will combine supportive therapy with an evidenced-based approach to therapy, such as internal family systems therapy (IFS), EMDR, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Sometimes negative thoughts and feelings can seem overwhelming, and at times even become unbearable. Often, they are the root cause of the issues that prompt someone to seek outside help. We love to help people understand what triggers these thoughts and feelings and help clients learn new skills for coping and healing. We love to help clients that have anxiety disorders, such as social anxiety, and generalized anxiety disorder. Many people who come to see us also struggle with depression, bipolar disorder, relationship conflict, decision-making, or grief.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We promote body positivity and follow the Health at Every Size principles. We support racial equity movements, we are actively engaging in our own anti-racism work, and we are LGBTQ affirming.
