About My Clients

Are you a oddball, deviant, "round peg in a square hole" misfit type of individual who is trying to find radical peace within themselves and the relationships around them? You are not alone! Your uniqueness is what makes your journey yours. Have you been feeling stuck, full of rage, anxious, depressed, "just not like yourself," "a little on edge," or fearful in your relationship with others and with yourself? Are you hesitant to experience vulnerability with another human, especially a therapist

My Background and Approach

I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy with a specialization in sex therapy from Lewis and Clark College Graduate School of Education & Counseling in Portland, OR and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Social Sciences with an emphasis in Gender Studies and Sociology from Washington State University in Vancouver, WA. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (OR License #: R7056; WA License #: MG 61191378). I’m trained in systemic family therapy modalities with specialized training in trauma-informed care. My therapy practice utilizes an integration of Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, Satir Experiential Therapy, and Somatic Therapy. My work is grounded in relational, Queer, Feminist Family Therapy, and Ecosystemic framework, which means that I am thoughtful and acknowledge that every single person exists in relation and connection to one another.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a queer, bisexual, white, neurodiverse, gender-expansive femme person with invisible disabilities. I am telling you different aspects of my identity because we do not exist in a vacuum and our lived experiences influence the ways that we interact with one another and the society that we exist within. You are the expert in your life and I am here not as the expert to "fix" you because you are not broken. Humans are beautiful messes that only need organization, not cleaning. I am here to be willfully open and genuine while I listen to your stories and human experiences. I aim to assist you on your journey to living your authentic and true life through operating in the here and now while holding space for messy-humanness.
