About My Clients
Many of my clients struggle to be themselves, and they are not alone. They want their friends and family to understand what they’re going through. They want to find and take the next step so they don't feel stuck. They want to feel free. If this is you too, I can help. I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ Community, teens and adults. More specifically, I work with those who want to explore their sexuality, gender, are experiencing relationship issues, struggling with anxiety, or depression.
My Background and Approach
I strive to create a calm, relaxed, and safe environment where clients and their families feel comfortable opening up and work on both key and underlining issues. I am an eclectic therapist who uses a variety of therapeutic techniques to aid clients effectively with kindness and understanding. My clients have control of what they want to work on and discuss during any given session.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is my belief that everyone should be able to be their authentic selves at all times. They shouldn't need to hide who they are friends with, who they love or who they are. Everyone should have equal rights and the ability to acquire needed health care. There should be more focus on mental health, which should be available to everyone. I am in support of and enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ Community. Additionally, I support of the Black Lives Matter movement. In my spare time, you will find me spending time with my family and/or friends. I enjoy watching TV and movies and have a strong interest in everything Disney (Hakuna Matata!).
