About My Clients
I have worked with a range of different clients, from the age of 14 to 60. In the past, I have had experience with working with client who are struggling with body image as well as an eating disorder. Most recently, I have been working more with teens and adults who are exploring their identity and in so, talking about gender and sexuality. Additional interests that I have as a clinician include working with clients who have an immigrant background, exploring sex and couple's work.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have worked in a range of practices. In the past I worked at a mood and eating disorder clinic where I ran DBT and process groups for clients as well as offered outpatient individual therapy. Both has aided me in learning more about how to help clients struggling with their relationship with food from both a mental health perspective but also a nutritional perspective. Since then, I have worked in group practices that allowed me to see a variety of clients and widen my scope of mental health struggles showing up in my caseload. Since then, I have worked closely with clients who have depression, anxiety, social anxiety, identity issues, relationship issues, family dynamics, and trauma.
