About My Clients
The clients I can best serve are couples stuck in repetitive cycles, highly critical, relational contempt, or unresolved trauma like sexual abuse or emotional abandonment. I use the Gottman Method for couples and EMDR and somatic interventions for individuals to address issues. My trauma-informed, holistic approach focuses on healing attachment wounds and building supportive relationships, helping clients reclaim their relational potential and overall well-being. Accepting new clients!
My Background and Approach
I specialize in helping clients overcome relational disconnect, trust issues, infidelity, and power struggles. Using the Gottman Method, Attachment-based therapy, and personal intuition, I support couples in rebuilding their relationships. For individuals facing anxiety, PTSD, sexual abuse, and other trauma, I utilize EMDR therapy. My culturally competent, trauma-informed approach leads to significant symptom relief within 30-90 days, empowering clients to heal and reclaim their relational potential.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My belief is rooted in the transformative power of therapy and personal development. With over four years of academic and clinical experience as a Clinical Therapist at Optimum Joy in Chicago, I help clients navigate complex emotional landscapes to achieve personal growth. My background as a Director of Recruitment in healthcare honed my skills in career development, which I now integrate into therapy. I specialize in attachment-based theories, relational conflict, church hurt, career development, marriage counseling, and life coaching, with a focus on supporting men through transitions following infidelity. I lead a group of 20 young professional men in spiritual development and leadership and facilitate a weekly men's Bible study for open discussion and support. Outside of work, I enjoy running, cooking, and playing tennis, currently training for a 10k race. My journey reflects my commitment to helping others reach their full potential!
