About My Clients
When life feels heavy, confusing, or difficult to navigate on your own, therapy can be a space to feel supported, validated, and empowered. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing stressors related to anxiety, trauma, relationship dynamics, identity concerns, and life transitions, including healing from generational and cultural pressures.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is integrative and trauma-informed, shaped by my lived experience as a Latina, a child of immigrants, and a veteran. I focus on the whole person, not just symptoms, by building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, patience, collaboration, and empowerment. I draw from Psychodynamic Therapy, CBT, DBT, mindfulness practices, and the Gottman Method to tailor care to each client’s needs. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish and am especially mindful of supporting clients navigating cultural and generational experiences. My therapeutic approach has also been shaped by my experience while serving in the military, where I was exposed to both the power of perseverance and the impact of discrimination, which deepened my understanding of trauma, identity, and the emotional toll of feeling unseen and unheard. These experiences fuel my commitment to creating an environment where you feel validated, empowered, and understood.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I recognize that many struggles stem from external factors like relationships, systemic barriers, and cultural expectations. My goal is to help you navigate these challenges with confidence and increased self-awareness, providing you with the tools needed for growth, self-discovery, and well-being at your own pace. I’m looking forward to hearing your story and working together.
