About My Clients
I have experience working with adults ages 18-65+ with a wide range of ethnic and gender identities. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, survivors of intimate partner trauma, and those navigating PTSD, anxiety, depression, as well as the unique experiences of being neurodivergent.
My Background and Approach
Therapy should be a place to not only get to know yourself but to grow, change, and flourish. I am trauma-informed, strength's based and work from a de-colonized lens. My approach is integrative and includes modalities such as, person-centered therapy, narrative therapy and internal family systems (IFS). I also invite gentle movement or mindfulness practices to help you tune into your body and emotions, creating opportunities for breakthroughs that logic alone can’t reach. My goal is to make therapy a space where every person feels safe, valued, and empowered to live authentically.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each person already holds the wisdom and strength they need to heal. Therapy is not about fixing you, you are not broken. Therapy is about uncovering strengths that may have been hidden or overlooked. My role as a therapist is to shine a light on those inner resources, helping clients recognize and embrace the skills they already possess. Therapy allows us to create a space where self-discovery, resilience, and empowerment can flourish. Outside of the therapy room, I am passionate about social justice and I am an active advocate for those impacted by systems of oppression.
