I combine talk therapy with the latest neuroscience to help understand these dichotomies and create LASTING change and relief.
My Background and Approach
Jean-Paul Sartre said, "Freedom is what you do with what has been done to you." We all have had things done to us. These things do not define us - the key is what we do with them afterward. I believe each and every person has what they need right inside of them; thus, my job is not to fix or change, but to teach the skills to help you tap into that inner source. The answers you are looking for are available and can be found. As a therapist, I create a supportive, respectful environment where a person can feel safe sharing their thoughts and struggles, with the biggest factor being non-judgmental! =) I have over 30 years in the counseling field and I'm trained in the following modalities: • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy • Internal Family Systems (IFS) • Havening • EMDR • Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) • CBT
