I have experience working with individuals suffering from major depressive disorder, seasonal depression, bipolar disorder, and persistent depressive disorder. I can support individuals who may be noticing symptoms such as fluctuating mood, sleep issues, poor motivation, eating disturbances, low self-esteem, feelings of hopelessness, and difficulty concentrating.

I specialize in helping individuals navigate their relationship challenges including family conflict, intimate partner violence, and conflict amongst friends/coworkers. I have experience working with specific issues including infidelity, poor communication, problems with intimacy, parenting stress, anger, and feeling disconnected from your partner. As a LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive therapist, I create a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can process relationship difficulties.

I have experience working with individuals who are experiencing generalized anxiety, situational anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, social anxiety, separation anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I utilize many empirically based DBT interventions including mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, behavioral activation, and relaxation techniques. I have witnessed positive results from using this treatment approach for issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, self-harm, PTSD, and substance abuse disorders.

I have experience implementing CBT interventions such as cognitive restructuring, reframing, and guided discovery. I draw from components of CBT frequently as it is an evidenced-based theory and has proven to be successful in helping treat a wide variety of mental health challenges.

I have worked with numerous clients experiencing symptoms including low mood, fatigue, poor motivation, disordered eating, sleep disturbances, feelings of hopelessness, low self-esteem, substance use, and anger. I have experience working with folks who have a significant history of depression as well as those who are experiencing these symptoms for the first time.

Each one of us has a story. I use a variety of narrative therapy interventions, encouraging clients to consider alternative perspectives and reconstruct harmful narratives that may have developed over time. We all have the power to rewrite our stories and break free from the harmful narratives that hold us back from the lives we truly deserve.
