About My Clients
My clients notice that they have goals in life, but don't always know what is standing in their way. My clients are questioning if the worries and concerns that plague them are normal. I hear my clients saying that they want to have a "normal" relationship with food, and that they want to hate their bodies a little less. My client wants to advocate for themselves, but have never had that modeled for them.
My Background and Approach
As a licensed social worker, I started my career in a higher level of care and worked with various populations to discover what my specialties are. My work focuses on anxiety, and the tools used to manage it. I see my work with anxiety in those with eating disorders, OCD, general anxiety and body image disturbances. I use my training and expertise to address what's going on, empower individuals to reveal their goals in their life, and access the tools to manage the distress.
