My focus is establishing and maintaining trust. I spend a great deal of time listening and giving space to long-held tensions. Together, we build foundational and wellness practices that offer in-depth care and support.
In this body-mind work, I include a breadth of breath-work, mindfulness practices, somatic awareness practices, guided meditation, and other holistic tools. I provide on-going mentoring and support, stress-reduction therapies, and embodiment practices.
I developed this practice through my nursing history, my work as a yoga therapist and work as a mindfulness meditation teacher.
You receive supportive and practical tools for managing life.
My work is used as a stand-alone practice or as a complement to traditional therapy.
We all get lost along the way. You are not broken. You are healing.
My work meets you where you are. This client-led and non-diagnostic work is where classical yoga techniques meet contemporary mind-body science. I am passionate about deep care; working with you to reconnect to your healing potential and inherent wisdom.
My compassionate and gentle practices help you to develop the integral qualities you want to reawaken, including self-agency, emotional intelligence, coping skills, and self-respect.
My history as an ICU nurse inform this care. I am also a hospice volunteer and a lay pastoral counselor and Level 3 Healing Touch Practitioner.
I am also an advanced teacher in the Y4C (Yoga for Cancer) training program with additional training in the Mindful Yoga for Cancer Integrative/Research-Based Model at Duke Univ.
I lead a cancer rehab program at my local hospital system; with a specialized wellness program I created, "I Thrive."
I genuinely care about your well-being. This kind care is the foundation of my work.
