My Background and Approach
At Mind Up Counseling, I bring over 25 years of clinical experience supporting adults—including older adults—through life’s emotional challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, caregiver stress, burnout, and life transitions. Inspired by the Greek concept of psyche (ψυχή), meaning “soul,” I offer a holistic, integrative approach that nurtures the mind, body, and soul. I combine evidence-based therapies like CBT and mindfulness with strength-based and client-centered methods. Together, we create a safe, compassionate space to explore your unique story, build resilience, and restore balance—empowering you to move forward with clarity, peace, and renewed purpose.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is a journey that embraces the whole person—mind, body, and soul. Compassion, empathy, and respect guide my work, creating a safe space where clients can explore their stories without judgment. Inspired by my Greek heritage, I honor the deep connection between soul and psychology in every session. Outside of counseling, I recharge by spending time with my family and our Yorkipoo, enjoying walks, yoga, and group fitness—practices that nourish my mind and body and inspire the holistic care I offer my clients.
