I work with a wide range of individuals who have their own unique experiences, particularly related to depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I believe people often feel misunderstood and isolated. In therapy, I offer a place safe from judgment for individuals to express openly and introspect about themselves. My goal is to help you attune to your feelings and facilitate long-lasting positive changes.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is informed by many former experiences. Through studying psychology and philosophy, I developed an openness and understanding to how uniquely different we, as individuals, can be in the ways we process the world around us. My goal for you is to introspect about your unique ways of processing and live through your values. In therapy, I aim to build an environment where you can safely attune to your feelings and examine past experiences. The past few years in social work and my experience as a hotline counselor before then showed me the importance of past experiences in understanding the present. By healing from past experiences, we can help you build resilience. I also believe we often experience suffering in cycles. These cycles make it difficult to process our own feelings, life experiences, and relationships. I aspire for our sessions to be a useful tool that will help you gain insight into yourself and bring awareness to what lies underneath these cycles.
