In my role as a life coach I developed experience in fostering personal growth in my clients. Through motivation interviewing, strength assessment , and active goal setting ; clients felt empowered to change their lives.

In my role as a Community-based Counselor, I specialized in anxiety disorders and stress related d/o. I worked with clients to identify effective anxiety management skills through thought reframing.

Counseling individuals in the midst of life altering moments, has given me the sensitivity and competency to treat adjustment disorders. When an individual has experienced significant loss or change, a space to process these changes maybe the difference between adjustment and stagnation.

Over the course of 7 years I have obtained clinical and vocational experiences in Cognitive - Behavioral Therapy. I have worked to assist clients with anxiety identify the impacts thoughts have on behaviors and emotions.

I am an expert in Person-Centered modalities due to my productive collaborative treatment planning approach and training. I have taken serval courses and trainings on person-centered interventions and empirically supported strategies.

During clinical internship I worked with clients who had a history of trauma, and variety of lived experiences. In these situations narrative therapy was useful when identify the root cause of current behaviors and feelings. There is power in the narrative of each client as it relates to identifying the origins of current emotional struggles.
