Life can be crazy great...and at other times crazy HARD! Sometimes, despite your best efforts, things don't go as planned. In fact, sometimes life is out of control. Like now. Right? Otherwise you wouldn't be taking this difficult step of seeking help. Our 1st session of therapy won't fix the problems or make them go away... in fact our 4th session likely won't make the problem go away either, but it will help you find the answers, courage & strength within yourself to keep going and heal.
My Background and Approach
Shannon Aaron has a tender place in her heart for healing bent and broken relationships between teens & parents, as well as between partners & spouses and is certified in Gottman Couples Therapy. She excels at helping people work through areas of weakness, as well as helping them recognize and celebrate their strengths. But Shannon’s expertise for helping people doesn’t stop there. Everyday, Shannon helps clients navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions & faith exploration. Shannon is a valiant defender of people who have been abused, neglected, or experienced trauma of any type and is always expanding her skills to help this population (including EMDR and PTSD training). Shannon uses techniques such as CBT, ACT, Experiential therapy, Talk therapy & Nature based therapies to empower clients with coping skills & confidence to enable them to live their best lives.
