Energy Psychology (EP) focuses on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, sensations, behaviors, and known bioenergy systems (such as meridians and the biofield). I offer a wide variety of EP techniques combined with traditional counseling, including but not limited to; Eden Method, EFT (or “tapping”), Reiki Energy Healing, sound healing, crystals and oracle card readings.

Hypnotherapy is a type of mind-body intervention in which hypnosis is used to create a state of focused attention and increased suggestibility in the treatment of a medical or psychological disorder, condition, concern or to change habits. Hypnotherapy can be used to treat anxiety, phobias, substance abuse including tobacco, sexual dysfunction, undesirable spontaneous behaviors, and bad habits. It can be used to help improve sleep, learning disorders, communication, and relationship issues.

Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) aims to develop realistic solutions as quickly as possible, rather than keeping people in therapy for long periods of time, in order to promote lasting relief for those in therapy. SFBT concentrates on how your current circumstances and future hopes by tapping into the client's strengths and resources. It can be combined with additional counseling techniques.

Anxiety may be present when worrying is uncontrollable and causes emotional distress, your worrying affects or interferes with your daily life, including school, your job and your social life or you cannot let go of your worries. You may worry about all sorts of things, such as your job or health, and minor concerns, such as household chores. Fast heart rate, rapid breathing, sweating, and feeling tired may occur.

Life transitions refers to the act of experiencing a change. Change comes in all forms small and large. It could be the milestones of age or moving into a new environment. You may find yourself stepping in or out of a relationship, or perhaps becoming something new, like a parent. Life transitions are challenging because they force us to let go of the familiar and face the future with a feeling of vulnerability.

Spirituality involves the recognition of a feeling or sense or belief that there is something greater than myself, something more to being human than sensory experience, and that the greater whole of which we are part is cosmic or divine in nature. Spirituality can help with positive thinking, inner peace, egoless, unconditional love, optimism, harmony, humility, responsibility, compassion, justice, simplicity, and reciprocity. Opening the heart is an essential aspect of true spirituality.
