About My Clients
I have a passion for working with individuals, families, and couples addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, ADHD, Substance use, anger management, self-esteem, trauma, domestic and sexual violence, grief, anger management and relationship difficulties. I’m passionate about helping identify and break the link to generational trauma. I provide substance abuse, women empowerment and anger management groups. I also provide biannual vision board groups.
My Background and Approach
My counseling approach is personalized to meet your specific needs. I utilize an integrated approach which includes Trauma Informed Care, Person Centered Therapy, CBT, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Integrated approach including aromatherapy and Tai Chi. I help individuals identify contributing factors influencing their substance use/abuse and develop an individualized plan of action to reduce relapse and promote recovery. I practice mindfulness and provide assistance with developing healthy coping skills. We all experience trauma and we all respond differently. I help you to understand how and why your trauma is negatively impacting your life. I help you to understand how your perspective of a situation impacts your feels and behaviors. I help you to identify and break the link to generational trauma.

We all face difficult moments, but we don’t have to struggle alone. I believe that it’s never too late for people to heal and have the life that they deserve.
