About My Clients
If you notice that you often have negative thoughts about yourself or your body, or if you struggle with feelings of guilt and self-blame around your food or exercise habits, I can help to create new patterns of coping by finding balance and increasing self-compassion. I can also help you to find and maintain healthy relationships, discover work-life balance, adjust to major life transitions, navigate your emotions, and cope with chronic pain or illness.
My Background and Approach
I take an integrative approach to therapy, focusing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as Internal Family Systems, in my work with clients. I work with clients to identify parts of themselves that are getting in the way of their goals. Through increasing introspective awareness, self-compassion, and non-judgment, clients are able to feel centered, focused, and at peace with themselves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone is capable of living a purposeful, authentic, and mindful life, but sometimes we struggle to know how to get there on our own. Whether someone wants to process a past trauma, or talk through what’s challenging them in the present, I believe therapy can be a productive and necessary space for all. It is my goal to create a holistic, non-judgmental, and collaborative therapeutic experience for each individual client.
