You find yourself struggling within your relationships and you know this because you feel overwhelmed and resentful towards the amount of people-pleasing and over-functioning you’re doing within your relationships. You feel like you are drowning in all of your responsibilities and yet, you hear yourself continue to say “yes” when internally you are screaming “no”. Perhaps you learned that others weren't available, so you had to do it yourself or learned to be 'easy going'.
My Background and Approach
Therapy can be a safe, non-judgemental space to be able to process your learned stories and beliefs around behaviors such as people-pleasing and over-functioning. Together, we will better understand why these stories are familiar to you, then begin to unlearn them and adopt new beliefs and behaviors that work better in your relationships.
